OOTD - What I Wore To The Nordstrom Gala

Happy Friday Noobs! Those of you that follow me on Instagram saw that I had recently attended the Nordstrom Gala, to celebrate the fact that Nordstrom has finally opening its first location in Toronto, in the CF Eaton Centre.  The night was absolutely incredible and I had so much fun exploring this exciting new additiona to Toronto retail.  For the gala, I kept my look simple with a sleek white dress and my favourite pair of "going out" pumps. Add a pink bag and some killer curls and I was ready to party the night away!

Dress - c/o Le Chateau, (similar) Shoes - Valentino, Purse - Chloé

A HUGE shoutout to Alicia from The Queens Shoppe who blowdried and curled my hair to perfection. I could not stop staring at myself as I left the salon and basically emptied out my collection of dry shampoo trying to extend this style as long as I possibly could. It's safe to say that I have found my go-to girl when it comes to big-occasion hairstyles.  If you're in the Toronto area, definitely give The Queens Shoppe salon a try!

What do you guys think? Are you into the pseudo-Marilyn Monroe look? What do you wear on big nights out? Let me know!

  2. Haha, if I had that hair I'd try to extend it as long as possible too. Unfortunately, after the 2nd day, I just can't bear the feeling of my hair and I HAVE to wash it. Anyway, when it comes to galas, my preference is to go floor length gown that's both classy and a little sexy. I have this statement dress for galas that's a floor length halter. Red. With a slit and interesting back detail. Nothing too over complicated aside from the colour.

    1. OHH, I love the sounds of a floor-length gown! Unfortunately I have yet to find one that fits without massive tailoring, so I usually go for short or tea-length! xo
