Travel Style: What I Wore in the Dominican Republic

For my last instalment, documenting my trip to the Dominican Republic with Air Transat, I wanted to touch briefly on what I wore. My vacation style is very effortless and, while this is the first time in years that I checked a luggage rather than traveling carryon only, I still tried to pack as lightly and as many mix-and-match pieces that I could.
I try not to fuss when packing for a vacation. Rather then going out and purchasing new wardrobe for a trip, I just pack pieces that I have been wearing for a while. My philosophy is that I never want to be held back from my clothes while traveling, so the last thing I want is to discover that something wrinkles or is see-through when wearing it for the first time on a trip. Another thing you'll notice is that I don't bring a lot of shoes, and I never pack heels - in fact, this trip I wore the same pair of Le Chateau flip flops the entire time!

Most of these pieces you guys will have seen before, and while I'll try to link where you can shop them as best I can, a lot won't be available because they're from Summer collections. I just think it's fun to see what people wear while they travel, and I hope you enjoy it too!
