The start of spring is cause for celebration in itself, but I particularly love it because it also means the One of a Kind Spring Show! You guys may remember how much I enjoyed the holiday show back in November, so I was excited to see what the spring show had in store. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. From plants, to delicate jewelry to delicious food - this show has absolutely everything. I was lucky enough to visit on the first day and after spending a few hours wandering around, I literally had to force myself to stop buying things. Seriously, this is not your grandmother's craft show. I did manage to control myself with only a few purchases, but it was hard. Here's a few of my highlights from the show, and what I ended up taking home with me.
I can never leave the One of a Kind show without visiting one of my favourite booths, Your Pal Al. These little cacti and succulents are nestled into a hand-made concrete pot, and are the perfect way to add some minimalist details to your space. My condo is already covered in these adorable little guys, but there's always room for one more.
Can you tell I'm on a plant kick? The beautiful plant designs of Trish Bastone really caught my eye like no other. I'm currently rearranging my bookshelf and coffee table to be able to accommodate one of these beauties.
I was also lucky enough to be able to style a mannequin for the Fashion District at the show! This is totally something that I would wear - pink and black are one of my favourite combinations, a close second to pink and pink LOL! If you head to the show today, be sure to check her out along with the mannequins of Margaux Zanetti and Barbara Ann Solomon.
That's it for me! Today is the last day of the show, so be sure to head over if you haven't already! Let me know what your favourites are too - I love discovering what amazing, one of a kind local talent our city and country has to offer!

I absolutely adore your blog. It is exquisite and you have a great writing style. Congratulations on your Demine design: you must be so proud of yourself. I have a thing about buttons too. You have such a great sense of style. I love reading your blog posts because you always give me inspiration to try something new and different - thanks for that! I
