You guys know that I'm no stranger to a floral skirt. Usually the bigger the better for me. I find that I naturally tend to wear less florals as the colder weather hits, but when I found this navy flowered skirt I knew it had to be mine. I love how it resembles one of my favourite summer outfits, but the colour palette makes it fall appropriate. Paired with a leather bomber to make it more daytime wearable and some black pumps, I'm sure that this skirt will take me well into the winter months.

My only issue with this gorgeous floral skirt is that the material easily wrinkles. Confession time: I just barely know how to iron a shirt, and am a mess when pressing more complicated clothing. I've been thinking about getting a steamer, similar to what you would see in a retail clothing store. Does anyone have one that they can recommend?
If florals for spring is groundbreaking (said sarcastically à la Devil Wears Prada) then florals in fall can be something special. Will you be bringing this warm weather pattern into the fall and winter? Let me know!

You know I'm one to sport florals throughout the seasons! This skirt is stunning.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have a steamer because I hate ironing! Not sure on the brand, but it's pretty basic and works well. Try Canadian Tire!

You definitely rock the florals and pastels throughout all seasons Gabriella - I've definitely got to take notes! And I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get a steamer, off to Canadian Tire I go!

Thank you Sandy! Your skirt sounds amazing, and I only wish that I had a garden party to attend!
DeleteDefinitely love florals for fall! :) I recently wore my dark floral skirt (http://www.cottoncashmerecathair.com/blog/2015/10/27/fall-florals) and am thinking about how I can wear it again this winter!
ReplyDeleteOHH I love your fall floral outfit! I like how we had the same idea - black sweater on top! Definitely makes the whole look more season appropriate!
DeleteLove this outfit! The deep colours make it very season appropriate.
ReplyDeleteI'm rubbish at ironing as well. I've got a T-Fal Iron that has a steamer setting that is helpful!

Thanks Kris! Brian has a fancy iron with a steaming option but the whole thing just scares me. I need simple! lol
