OOTD - The Oversized Long Cardigan

Is there anything better than sweater weather - especially when that sweater can be worn sans jacket? To me, nothing announces the arrive of Spring than finally packing my jackets away for the season and turning to something lighter.  I've been loving long cardigans lately for their versatility, warmth and bonus booty-covering capabilities.  A long cardigan paired with an all black outfit with destroyed black denim offers some balance, and I know that it will take me right into the early summer months. Read on for additional photos and outfit details.

Hat - American Apparel

It makes me laugh that I was so desperate to get away from the white wall that I shot all of my outfits against in my old place, and here I am - against another white wall!  Call me a creature of habit, but when I saw this wall I was obsessed!

I'm loving the oversized, long cardigan to act as a transition piece into Spring.  What do you think?

  2. Love the white wall! Haha. I bought a long cardigan for spring as well. I plan to wear it with shorter skirts to offset them a bit

    1. I'm definitely joining that plan! I'm excited to be able to wear items that I had deemed 'too short' with this cardigan.

  4. I have an extremely over protective boyfriend and I agree the booty-hiding capabilities are great, I know I can wear shorts and dresses accompanied with these in the hot summer (rather than leggins and big jumpers, i know hes cruel!!) but these are perfect for me to embrace my summer look :)

    1. Yes, the long cardigan is perfect to wear with shorter items! I've got a pair of short-shorts in mind that have now become so much more wearable!
