Date Night Outfit 3 Ways

Ah wintertime - the mother of all curve ball seasons for fashion and style.  I always find that I have to put a lot of extra effort into dressing during winter to avoid living in a parka all season.  Date nights seem to be the most challenging for putting together outfits - it's a fine line between dressing up, staying warm and looking season-appropriate.  Patterned tights are my number one go-to for getting gussied up in the winter, as well as a flirty skirt in an interesting material.  I like to add a statement accessory, and for this particular outfit it's a beaded headband that it's super easy DIY. There's also a surprise at the end of the post - two more outfits from two super talented bloggers to add inspiration for your Winter date night looks!  Read on for all outfit details, and to see how Kristiana and Emily styled their outfits.

Vegan Leather Skirt - Asos (similar), Sweater - Club Monaco, Tights  - H&M
Leopard Clutch - Clare V (similar)., Headband - DIY

Meet the bloggers and their own unique Winter date night outfits!

To the left we have Kristiana from Love. Loft. Life.  I absolutely love how she paired a camel skirt with all-black, and then added a fun red hunter boot for a pop of colour! I can totally see myself drawing inspiration from this outfit for a cozy wintertime brunch date - proving further that I really do need a pair of red hunter boots.  Thanks Kris! ;)  You can also find Kristiana on Instagram for more outfit inspiration and fun DIYs and Twitter.

On the right we have Emily from Moonlight Chai.  I really like how she chose a fitted maxi skirt for her date night look, and paired everything with a pair of studded boots.  I'm already envisioning the Winter dinner dates that this outfit could carry me through - bring on the dinner reservations!  Emily has a great Instagram feed that features lots of fashion inspiration, and you can also find her on Twitter.

Whats your favourite wintertime date night outfit?
