The blush maxi skirt strikes again! My much loved, and subsequently much worn ( see
here,
here and
here) blush maxi skirt makes yet another appearance - this time, for a cool boho-inspired look. I'm still trying to warm up to the crop top, and this black lace version pairs perfectly with the high waist of the maxi skirt giving me lots of coverage. This particular crop top has a very deep neckline, so I thought best to cover the midriff to keep the outfit modest and balanced. For a gal who is approaching 30 at lightening speed, and who also hasn't seen the gym in the past year - modestly in the midriff is crucial. Read on for additional photos and all outfit details for this breezy, boho look featuring my blush pink maxi skirt.
Do you have a favourite summer clothing item that you're virtually wearing to the ground - much like me to this maxi skirt? Let me know!

Thank you! I'm such a sucker for lace ;)
DeleteLoving this outfit! The lace edging is such a nice detail.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I like the lace as well - also helps to keep the crop top from showing any skin!
DeleteYour hair is so beautiful! Makes me want to grow mine out :)

Thank you! I've been growing my hair out for about two years now. I used to get a weave sewn in - now I can't seem to trim it fast enough! I have a post about how I grew my hair out here :)
Deletethese photos are gorgeous! love that skirt, so pretty and really like how you paired the crop with it. I'm the same way about crop tops, always wearing them with something high waisted for a bit of modesty! :)

Right? I see girls rocking the midriff bearing crop tops and it looks so cute on them - then I go home and try the same thing and just think 'nope.' Cheers to modest girls!
DeleteThank you Sabina!
